TESTIMONIALS, 2010

From VermontFrom Vermont

November 2010

I have attached a picture from this fall of our puppy sired by Hammer and out of Maya. I couldn't be happier with her performance! We have had great luck with our pup. She started in the wild, just shy of 4 months.

EagleBj (Eagle)

November 2010

I have entered Eagle in 4 trials now. He has won the show every time! One of them being a world qualifier. He is also winning his casts but never gets plus points. He always has 0 or a few minus points. Everywhere we've ran has been bone dry and all the other dogs completely minus out within an hour leaving eagle a full hour to hunt himself but every time he strikes one up he runs out of time and just breaks even. Except for last time he had 0 points and everyone minused out and with 20 minutes to go he stepped on a black locus thorn and it went completely through the webbing between his toes. He still wanted to hunt on three legs so i gave him a few minutes to see if he would strike one up but I had to scratch him and get him to the truck and administer cut and heal right away. He did give it his all like he always does. I know he will get his share of wins.

CabelaCorey (Cabela)

October 2010

Hi Frieda ,just wanted to let you know that Cabela is doing fine. This is a picture of her first rabbit and she's got many since then. I also through in a picture of the moose that I killed this year. Hope you and Branko are doing well, keep up the good breeding work! If you ever want hunt in newfoundland look me up. I would like another dog in the future so I'll keep in touch. Bye for now.

KateJacqueline & Kris (Kate)

October 2010

We received Kate's papers, thank you. We continue to be impressed with Kate's hunting abilities. She has a strong drive to hunt & is doing it all by herself. She is proving to be a very intelligent dog, already learning hand signals & basic commands. The first rabbit Kate ran was circled shot. After a couple weeks of running, Kate continually checks spots where she had previously jumped rabbits. At only five months old, Kate consistently runs the hare to the gun with kills in New Hampshire, Vermont, & Maine! Kate's last hunt in Maine was held in a very heavy rainstorm with 30MPH winds & she did exceptionally well considering the conditions. The best part about Kate is how quiet she is. We have yet to hear her bark at the house or in the kennel. Thank you for breeding such a great dog, we are enjoying everyday with Kate. Thank you, Jacqueline & Kris

HunterHunterHelen (Auggie)

July 2010

Hi Frieda and Branko. Another update. Oh my God, I have an amazing doggie. I had let you know, she is in canine good citizen, she has to heel, sit stay for 5 minutes, without a leash, down stay, stand stay. This is all at the forks, where it is very busy. All I can  say I am so proud of  her, last week the dog instructor said, she needs to do something else, she thinks, that Auggie is competition material. She wants me to put her in competition obedience. She says Auggie is very very smart and I know that she is. Guys, the instructor told everyone in the class, the little beagle is kicking every other dogs butt, there are 14 dogs in the class. The instructor said to me in this class I cannot teach you anything else. I practice with her a lot, I go to all kinds of  places with her, so I can practice. Today I went to the forks, I  introduced her to the river, she was so intrigued, smelling the water, checking it out, I love showing her new things, and having new adventures. I walked her through the busy parts, hot dog carts, etc. she stays by my side, I know it is difficult for her, but she does  it. I made her sit and stay in an area where there  were many people sitting eating drinking, etc. I walked away several yards, she stayed, until I came back, when I came back all the people applauded for her, they were so impressed. I seem to be able to teach her anything, she loves to learn, she is my life, and I want her to be all that she can be. Thanks again for her. Helen

HunterNeal (Hunter)

June 2010

Being the proud beagle dad that I am... I could hardly pick out just one photo of Hunter to send you. But, this one has to be one of the cutest beagle photos of all time.  He could be on a beagle calendar.

"Frieda, the pup in the pic is Branko's Brute Force Boe (Tuffy x Maya) at 10 months old. We killed two hare with him in an hour, it was only 10 degrees and two feet of snow! He circled both hare to the gun in that deep snow! Great breeding, I can't wait for my next pup in the Spring! Sean"

Tony (Puppies)

January 2010

"Branko and Frieda, Hope everything is well and holidays have been festive. Here are a couple of pics of our pups. This was their 5th hunt on snow, let me say the rabbits are in trouble. The pups are now 10 months old and getting better every time out. Enjoy, Tony"

NikiDavid (Niki)

January 2010

"Went out rabbit hunting at the new "secret spot" in Rochester on Friday. I think we hit the mother load. This is the same general area where we couldn't get one rabbit a few days ago. Go figure! We got our beagle, Niki, from you in May of last year. She is out of Branko's Casey and Brankos Wicked Witch 2. Niki is a rabbit hunting machine and wonderful family pet! David
